18'' Northern Pike

I woke up at 5a.m. for the 4th Sunday in a row to hit the ice with a few friends. We went to Crooked Lake again, the first lake we hit this season and also where we caught the most fish so far, I got 2 that morning. Today was a different story. It was cold and breezy, and there was snow on the ice this time at least, but I was the one one to get a fish. I was also the only one to get a bite while jigging. A couple more friends came along later, and a keeper Crappie made an apperance near one of their holes.

Not a very productive day, but it’s nice to have caught one!

With just a few tweaks, I’m now able to have Instagram start a chain reaction that will send a photo from my iPhone to Instagram, Facebook, Flickr, and now my website as well. I’ve added my entire Flickr library to my new Photo page and so once a photo hits Flickr, it automatically shows up here too. That last bit is thanks to the Awesome Flickr Gallery plugin.

I’m really feeling good these days. I’ve been busy with work thanks to my hustling and my P.M.A. & I’m excited about the future. Dawn’s off on a secret mission for an amazing project that we’re keeping under wraps. I’m looking forward to sharing it with the world.

I’ve made some tweaks here at drewdomkus.com, you’ll notice I’ve cleaned up the sidebar and added a few new pages to the site.

welcome to the new year! i’ve been keeping busy most days and nights so far with building websites thanks to my awesome website special, so i’m very thankful for that. i’m hoping i can keep hustling more work.

we had a great new years eve, we stayed at home and hung out with our nephew kayden, a.k.a. showbiz fetus. he’s 4 years old now and he’s totally digging uncle right now, so i’m also very thankful to be back here in wisconsin to be a part of his life right now.

i got hired a month ago by a techy temp agency but haven’t gotten any work out of it yet, so i’m hoping that changes soon. in the meantime, i’m hyper focused on making some money with a positive attitude. i feel like this is the year we catch up.

so here’s to a prosperous new year, and another 12 months of weblog archives!

AutoStitch panoramas

AutoStich is a great iPhone app that will stitch together lots of pictures to create huge panoramas with near invisible seams. for this one at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, i shot three frames with a Canon PowerShot S90, once they were synced onto my iPhone, i used the app. have a look at the full size image, it’s very hard to find the stitch.
