i was at a friends house yesterday, bonding with a bunch of my local friends, splitting a bunch of wood for the winter. it was a beautiful day and we all had a good time, and we did work! it felt good!

but a really cool thing happened once we all had finished. we all cracked a beer and sat around enjoying the sun, and this beautiful butterfly flew right in between us real slow and then left. but it made a big circle and came back into our circle and landed on one of the beer cans that was on the ground. we all stared for a moment and i grabbed my phone to take a few photos and then it flew away.

i’m probably reading way too deep into it, but i’d like to let that little butterfly signify the change that is happening in my life.
